Design features of the power tool
Vibration-dampening additional handle
Vibration-dampening additional handle 6 reduces the
negative influence of vibration on body work, making
work safer and more comfortable
Speed selector thumbwheel
Using speed selector thumbwheel 3, you may select
the required spindle speed (also during operation)
The required speed is dependent on the material and
can be determined with practical trials
When operating your power tool at a low speed for a
long time, it has to be cooled down for 3 minutes To
do it, set a maximum speed and leave your power tool
to run idle
Soft start
Soft start (limiting system of starting current) enables
smooth start of power tools - the disc is being run up
gradually with no jerks and kickbacks; no jump-like
load is imposed on the motor upon switching
Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
• You can hold the power tool in two ways:
• hold by the rear handle and for the vibration-
dampening additional handle 6 (see fig. 10);
• hold by the rear handle and housing of reducer 4
(see fig. 11.1). While holding the power tool with
this method, hold the housing of reducer 4 firmly
and pinch your fingers as shown in figure 11.1.
Attention: it is strictly forbidden to hold the
housing of reducer 4 using the method shown in
figure 11.2, this can cause serious injuries.
• It is strongly recommended to use liquid polishing
compounds Never use abrasive or grinding com-
pounds Abrasive components may damage coated
surfaces
• Run the power tool idle for one minute before the
operation
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.
• Regularly apply the polishing compound on the sur-
face during polishing
• When applying the polishing compound on the pol-
ishing accessory leave approximately one forth of the
working surface uncovered by the compound
• The quality of polishing depends on proper selection
of the rotation speed, which is mainly determined by
the material being processed
• High speed is set when high quality of polishing is
not required
• Use low speed to deliver the best quality of polishing
and to achieve high finish of the surface.
• If the part being processed is heated up, stop opera-
tion and let it cool down to avoid deformation
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean Regularly
