1. SAFETY REGULATIONS

1.1 HOW TO READ THE MANUAL
Some paragraphs in the manual containing im-
portant information regarding safety and opera-
tion are emphasized in the following ways:

IMPORTANT
These give details or further
information on what was indicated above,
and aim to prevent damage to the machine or
cause damage in general.
WARNING!
Non-observance may
result in the risk of injury to oneself or
others.
DANGER!
Non-observance may result
in the risk of serious or fatal injury to one-
self or others.
The manual describes several accessory ver-
sions that differ by functionality or application
mode.
The "
" symbol highlights all the differences
in usage and is followed by the indication of the
version that it refers to.

Whenever refer-
ence is made to a position
on the machine "front",

1.2 STANDARD SAFETY REGULATIONS
WARNING!
Read carefully before use.
A) TRAINING
1) Read the instructions carefully. This manual
completes the information contained in the
machine's Instructions Manual in terms of as-
sembly, use and maintenance of this interface.
All other information regarding safety, use and

maintenance norms contained in the machine
Instruction Manual is therefore applicable on
the condition that they are not altered by the
presence of the interface and connected acces-
sory. Carefully read the user instructions for the
connected accessory before starting work.
2) Never allow children to operate the interface,
or adults who have not received proper instruc-
tion.
3) It is important to become familiar with the
controls and the proper use of the interface and
connected accessory.
B) PREPARATION
1) Use work gloves, footwear and suitable per-
sonal protective equipment during assembly
and disassembly of the connected accessory;
always use tools which are suitable for the type
of work involved.
2) Position the accessory on a flat and sturdy
surface to assemble and disassemble the ac-
cessory, paying attention to weight distribution
and to ensure safe movement and handling of
the same.
3) Before use, always carry out a general check
to make sure the components of the interface
and connected accessory are not worn or dam-
aged.
C) OPERATIONAL USE
1) Keep people, children and pets at a safe dis-
tance from the machine and the accessory.
2) Do not use the machine and accessory if the
guards are damaged or improperly assembled.
3) Do not work on slopes with inclination ex-
ceeding 10° (17%). When working on slopes,
only drive uphill and downhill, and never trans-
versally. Never work on terrains with steps.
4) When using motorised equipment, disengage
the power takeoff (PTO) before starting the
engine.
5) When operating with the accessory assem-
bled, always check the overall size which could
reduce manoeuvring in tight spaces and cause
difficulties due to the increase and different dis-
tribution of the overall weight.
6) Disengage and raise the accessory during
manoeuvres, when not in use and before get-
ting off the machine.
D) MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
1) Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be
sure the interface is in safe working condition.
2) Replace worn or damaged parts to ensure
safety conditions. Only use original spare parts.
