Handling and Transport
The appliance is delivered complete with all the required
parts: mounted metal structure and separate covering.
These parts are contained in a packaging suitable for
long distance transportation. It is advisable to unpack the
appliance only when it has arrived at the installation site.
Make sure that children do not play with the packaging
components (e.g. films and polystyrene): Danger of
suffocation!
3.1
Removal of the packaging
Remove the wooden create (only for the version with
automatic door) and the shrink film.
Remove the counterweight secured with a strap to the
top of the appliance.
Remove the packaging containing the parts of the
covering from the pallet.
Remove the screws that secure the appliance's feet to
the pallet (Fig. 3.1) and remove it.
Dismantling and disposal of materials may also be
entrusted to third parties, provided that companies who
are authorised to recover and dispose of the materials
in question are always used.
Always follow the regulations in force in the country in
which the appliance is being used for disposal of materials
and possibly for the disposal report.
3.2
Transportation
Make sure that the lifting carriage has a payload higher
than the weight of the appliance to be lifted. The full
responsibility of the lifting of loads lies on the person
handling the lifting equipment.
The product has slots on the right and left sides for
insertion of chimney lifting tools (Fig. 3.2).
Check that the payload of the cables is suitable for the
weight of the machine.
During lifting avoid jerking or abrupt movements.
Pay attention to overbalancing.
