comfortable and consult your doctor to rule out
any problems.
• The foot spa is fitted with an anti-splash guard.
• Before emptying the foot spa, turn the On/Off
switch to "0" and unplug it from the mains. Tilt the
foot spa over a basin to allow the water to drain
out through the drain holes located at the rear of
the appliance (Fig. 5). Prevent any water from get-
ting on to the function selector.
MASSAGE ROLLERS
• The foot spa can be used with or without the
massage rollers. To fit them, slide the discs into
their housings, making sure that the R (right) and L
(left) marked on the discs and the foot spa match
up. Next, insert the rollers as shown in figure 6.
• Move your foot back and forth for a pleasant
massage.
PEDICURE ACCESSORIES
After unpacking your hydromassage foot spa, you
will find the rough skin accessory mounted on the
swivel for attaching the accessories. The massage
brush and tip are packed inside a blister pack to
prevent them from being damaged during transit.
All three accessories can be stored away in the
compartment on the splash guard. (Fig. 1)
Choose the accessory you require and fit it onto
the swivel (Fig. 7). You should move your foot
back and forth to notice the effect.
The accessories on the BH5615 model are motor
driven. To use this motor, place whichever acces-
sory you choose onto the swivel and select setting
2 or 3 on the switch. The accessory will start to
rotate as soon as you press your foot on it.
Important:
• Do not try to stop it from rotating by exerting
excessive pressure.
• Pedicure treatment should not last any longer
than five minutes.
INFRARED TREATMENT (Fig. 8)
The infrared light penetrates deep into the skin,
stimulating the expansion of blood vessels. This
helps to reconstruct and nourish the body tissues.
It can relieve muscular or rheumatic pains. It also
helps to open the pores on the skin, so it is a good
idea to use this treatment prior to applying creams
to achieve maximum effect.
Check the temperature of the plate before you use
it. It is normal for the skin to redden slightly du-
ring use. It will return to normal after a short while.
Consult your doctor if it feels uncomfortable or if
your skin becomes very red.
Warnings:
• Do not use the infrared treatment if you suffer
from poor circulation, swelling or skin rashes.
• The use of creams and lotions before using the
spa may help to increase its action.
• It is not advisable to use the infrared applica-
tion for longer than 20 minutes.
AQUA JET (Mod. BH5615) (Fig. 2)
The Aqua Jet accessory produces two relaxing
jets of water. To use it, set the switch to position
2 or 3.
