Certain technical experience is required for the mounting. If you are not sure how to carry out the work you should
leave it to be done by your SUZUKI dealership.
1.
Preparation before installation
a)
Park the motorcycle steady in a safe place.
b)
Keep the ignition key removed.
c)
Be sure not to damage any vehicle part.
d)
Check that all the parts are contained in the kit as listed in "Contents" section.
2.
Installation
a)
Dismount the rider seat as mentioned in chapter 6 of the owner's manual.
b)
Dismount the right frame cover by loosen the screw 1 and pull carefully at with the X marked points as shown
in picture 1.
c)
Disconnect the battery negative pole.
d)
Insert deeply the 18-pin harness connector in the alarm unit up to the security catch is clicking.
e)
Clean carefully the unit mounting area of the bracket "6" and the unit bottom with a suitable cleaner.
f)
Apply the bi-adhesive tape "4" on the bottom of the control unit.
g)
Remove the bi-adhesive plastic film.
h)
Place the control unit as indicated in picture 2. The fixing bracket holes must correspond to the control unit
fixing slots (picture 2
