INSTRUCTIONS
Attention.
Before installing the unit, care-
fully read the "WARNINGS FOR
INSTALLATION" contained in the
package.
IAV/300 INTERFACE
Using the interface, you can connect
handsets (fig. 3) and video handsets
(fig. 4), telephone switchboards with
audio entry control interface 4+n (fig.
5), or with audio entry control inter-
face FTZ123D12 (fig. 6), to system
300 and X2 installations.
NOTE. By 4+n we mean a system
with TX audio output, RX audio
input, system common, door-lock
release output and n calls.
In addition to audio signals, the door
lock release control and an auxiliary
control, there is an output for the 1 V
demodulated video signal on 75 Ω.
The interface is activated by a call
code, meaning it must be pro-
grammed first.

Function of potentiometers and
jumpers (fig. 1)
P1 - Entry panel volume control.
P2 - Receiver volume control.
SW1 - Jumper for setting interface
programming mode.
SW2 - Jumper for selecting installa-
tion type and lenght of call.
In service with standard installations
(4+n), the jumper must be ON; with
interface FTZ123D12, it must be
OFF.
When in standard programming
mode, with the jumper ON, the call
is sent for 1 s.
With the jumper OFF, the call is
repeated for up to 30 s or until a
handset is lifted, with a note sound-
ing for 2 s every 5 s.
SW3 - Jumper terminating video
signal. If X2 line does not continue,
this jumper must be ON.
WARNING. If BPT receivers are
connected in the same installation,
adjust volume on the entry panel
first for improved communication
quality with said receivers. Next,
adjust volume using the poten-
tiometers in the interface, for
improved
communication
non-BPT receivers.
If there are no BPT receivers,
adjust potentiometers in the inter-
face to halfway setting and then
adjust volume using the poten-
tiometers in the entry panel.

Programming
WARNING. Before starting this
operation, make sure the X2 entry
panel or XA/300LR control unit is
set to receiver programming mode.
1 - Set the type of call desired using
jumper SW2.
2 - Remove jumper SW1.
The LED flashing on the interface
and a sound signal repeated every 5
s, on the entry panel, confirm that
you are in programming mode.
3 - Press the call button on the entry
panel that is to activate the receiver
via the interface.
4 - Press the other call buttons if you
want a number of buttons (up to 3)
to activate receivers.
5 - Refit jumper SW1 to exit pro-
gramming.
A sound signal on the entry panel and
flashing LED on the interface confirm
successful programming of each call.
6 - Exit receiver programming in the
X2 entry panel or XA/300LR control
unit.
7 - Position jumper SW2 for the
installation type: 4+n or FTZ123D12.
NOTE. The interface can be pro-
grammed through the MPP/300LR
unit, using the dedicated profile for
the XC/301 receiver, or PCS/300
programming software, except for
programming call time.

SCHNITTSTELLE IAV/300
Diese
Schnittstelle
Anlagen des System 300 und X2 mit
einer (Abb.6) FTZ 123D12 oder einer
(Abb.5) 4+N Schnittstelle einer TK-
Anlage. Das IAV300 kann als
Endgerät (Abb.3) für Haussprech-
anlagen oder (Abb.4) Videosprech-
anlagen eingesetzt werden.
Neben der Anschlussmöglichkeit
der Audioübertragung wird auch das
Videosignal aus dem Bus der
Videosprechanlage ausgekoppelt.
ANMERKUNG. Eine 4+N Anschal-
tung an einer TK- Anlage bedeutet,
ein System mit Audioausgang TX,
Audioeingang

Masse (Ground), Türöffnerausgang
und
ein
oder

Eine FTZ Anschaltung an eine TK-
Anlage bedeutet, ein System mit NF

Kontaktsteuerungen
Einschaltung des IAV300 und den
Türöffner sind seitens der TK-
Anlage, potentialfrei an den IAV300
anzulegen.
Kann die TK- Anlage mehr als einen
Anrufteilnehmer unterscheiden, sind
mehrere AC 300 zu verwenden.
Verschiedene Hersteller haben die
Logik des Anrufeingang (KL) an den
TK- Anlagen geändert.
Bisher war es so, dass wenn am
Anrufeingang ein Signal kurzzeitig
angelegt war, die TK- Anlage den
Anruf zu den Nebenstellen selbst-
ständig, intervallartig weitergeführt
hat.
Ältere TK- Systeme sind so ausge-
rüstet.
Neuere TK- Anlagen geben den
Anruf nur noch so lange an die
Nebenstellen, wie die Klingeltaste an
der Haussprechaußenstation ge-
drückt wird.
Eventuell können diese TK- Anlagen
den
Anrufintervall
in
Anlagensoftware auch wahlweise
behandeln.
