Before installation
CAUTION: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For personal safety, it is important to follow all these
instructions.
Keep these instructions.
Installation must be carried out by qualifi ed and
experienced personnel.
• The product should only be used for the purpose for which
it was explicitly designed. Came Cancelli Automatici S.p.A.

that the load is suitable for the maximum power input. •
Do not allow children to play with the fi xed control devices.
Keep the portable control devices out of reach of children.
• Provide a suitable single-pole disconnection device, with
a maximum of 3 mm between the contacts, to disconnect
the power supply. • For outdoor use, use the protective
sheathes for the PVC electrical cables • The device is not
designed to be used by persons (including children) whose
physical, sensorial or mental capacities are limited, or who
are lacking in experience or knowledge, unless said persons
can be supervised or given instructions regarding using the
device by a person responsible for their safety. Children must
be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
It is strictly forbidden to: pierce, immerse in
water, drop, hammer, deform, insert nails or
screws, dismantle or tamper with the device.
Intended use
Receiver control unit for sending commands via a remote
control to a lighting system (max 300 W).
Compatible with all transmitters in the KLT series and timers.

Any installation and operation that diff ers from what
is set out in this manual is prohibited.

Installation
Installation must be carried out by qualifi ed
and experienced personnel in compliance with
applicable regulations.
All connections must be made while the electrical
power is disconnected.
The control unit may be disturbed as it is sensitive to
external elements, such as masses, metal roofi ng and
electromagnetic fi elds or radio broadcasts at the same
frequency, which can impair unit operation. Use plastic
containers and position the antenna away from power
cables.
• Connect the wires to the terminals as shown in the
diagram in Fig.
and the instructions given in the
"Electrical connections" chapter.
The container should not be pierced for any
reason.
ANTENNA
For normal operation, the unit is equipped with an antenna
in the form of a 17 cm insulated cable.
Under no circumstances cut or change the
antenna cable.
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
The control unit can be inserted inside a fl ush box or a
shock-resistant junction box.
