1. Functionality
The Marten Repellent Indoor, LED is a device
that generates an ultrasonic signal with a fre-
quency between 12 and 23 kHz at intervals of
15 seconds on and off. Additionally it will ge-
nerate a flash lasting four seconds every 26 se-
conds. This ultrahigh frequency and the flash
are most irritating to martens and cats. The
irritation is so disturbing and comfortable, that
they will very soon leave the affected area and
stay away. The Marten Repellent Indoor, LED is
recommended for attics, garages, stables and
barnes. It is also effective against mice rats
and other rodents.
2. Getting Started
The device is simply plugged into a 230 V
mains socket and is immediately ready for ope-
ration. After putting in the plug the flashlight
on the housing will start flashing. The sound is
emitted in the direct line from the device. The
device should not be placed behind curtains or
furniture so that the distribution of the ultra-
sonic sound is not dampened. Make sure that
the device is placed in the immediate vicinity of
the area that is to be protected.
