6.5.5 Run revision program
For the calculation of the program start time
(» section Program ming) the controller assumes an
average voltage of 230 V. Due to local circumstances
the actual voltage value may be different. This may
lead to faulty time calculations of the controller.
The revision program compensates these deviations.
If you notice larger time differences during operation
of the pre-heating furnace (> 30 minutes) run
revision program as follows:
NOTE! The running time of the
revision program is approx. 8 hours.
1. Keep Start/Stop key pressed.
2. Switch on furnaces using main switch.
3. Release Start/Stop key.

Basics
WARNING! Risk of injuries due to
!
improper operation!
Improper operation may lead to severe bodily injuries
or tangible damages. Therefore:
• Follow all operational steps according to the
specifications in this user manual.
• Before any work make sure that all covers and
safety devices are installed and in orderly
working condition.
• Do never put any safety devices out of service
during operation.
CAUTION! Risk of burns due to hot
!
surfaces at the furnace door!
During normal operation the surface temperature at
the furnace door may exceed 60°C. Even a switched
off furnace may have a high residual heat from a
previous heating process.
Therefore:
• Use sufficiently heat-insulated
protective gloves.
• Open the furnace door only with
therefore designed lever/handle.

Heating chamber
CAUTION! Risk of burns due to hot
!
surfaces in the heating chamber!
Even a switched off furnace may have a high residual
heat from a previous heating process. Therefore:
• To load or remove fired objects strictly use tongs
that are sufficiently long.
• Use sufficiently heat-insulated protective gloves.
CAUTION! Risk of damage for door
inserts due to improper handling!
The ceramic of the door insert is highly porous and
therefore sensitive to scratches and impacts.
Therefore:
• Always treat the door insert carefully.
• Avoid touching with zircon block and tongs.
CAUTION! Risk of damage of the
controller electronics due to
electrical discharge!
During heating operation there is the risk that if the
distance between metallic objects and the walls of
the heating chamber is too small an electrical
dis charge may take place. This may damage the
controller electronics of the furnace beyond repair.
Therefore:
• Make sure that metallic objects do not touch the
walls of the heating chamber.
7.2 Loading of furnace
1. Open furnace door.
2. Place ceramic insert on floor of heating chamber.
3. Distribute casting moulds in the heating chamber in a way
4. Close furnace door.

7.3 Switch on furnace
• Press main switch.
After a few seconds the operating display shows
the furnace temperature (here e.g.: 27 °C).

Pic. 26: Display time
The day/time display is alternating between time and
weekday (her e.g.: Wednesday, 08:32 hours).

NOTE! In any case use a ceramic insert to protect the
floor of the heating chamber against contamination.
that they do not touch the walls of the heating chamber.
The mains control light in the main switch is on.
