Machine Adjustment Procedures (Cont.)
If abrasive paper with hole is to be used, proceed as follows:
1)
Ensure the electric cable is disconnected from the power.
2) T urn the machine over, resting the handles on the floor.
Adjusting the working surface on the floor
The disc operates best when slightly tilted with respect to the floor.
The tilt is determined by the position of the wheels fitted on two guide
supports. Loosen the nut (A) to lower the wheel-holder support to the required
position.
Routine Maintenance
To keep the machine in good working condition the following items must be checked and serviced regularly.
Belt tension (for the user)
1.
With a screwdriver, remove the screws (A) that secure the belt
safety plate (B) to the baseplate (C).

Remove screw and the tapered washer (A), keeping
disc (B) stationary.
4)
Ensure the surface of the velcro-backed disc is clean and
position an undamaged 150mm (6.00") diameter abrasive disc.
5)
Secure the disc using the screw and tapered washer, keeping
disc stationary.

Loosen the other screws (A) using a 5mm Allen key.
