Inspection and Maintenance
The operator must make sure the rubber-metal pipe connectors are easily accessible,

and visual inspections can be carried out regularly.
Check the rubber-metal pipe connectors in compliance with the applicable regulations
n
to make sure they are intact. In case of defects (e. g. blistering, surface cracks, or irre-
gular deformations), contact our Technical Advisory Service. Repairs are inadmissible.
Check the Shore hardness of the rubber-metal pipe connectors at regular intervals. If the
n
hardness exceeds 83 Shore A, the element must be exchanged for safety reasons.
Do not clean the pipeline system with chemically aggressive agents. Observe the agent-
n
resistance!
The rubber-metal pipe connectors can be cleaned with soap and warm water. Sharp-
n
edged objects, wire brushes, or sandpaper may not be used for cleaning purposes.
