Installation and Operating Instructions for
Rubber-Metal Pipe Connectors, Type GRV
General information
The rubber-metal pipe connectors are aptitude-tested by TÜV [German safety standards
authority] from DN 20 to DN 200, and they are suitable for being used in hot water and
heating systems with a maximum safety temperature of up to 100°C/10 bar, TÜV Anla-
gen- u. Umwelttechnik Prüf-Nr. [TÜV plant and environmental technology approval number]
010 11 41.
Rubber-metal pipe connectors are designed as insulating elements for disrupting the trans-
mission of sound and damping slight noise vibrations.
Not to be used to absorb vibrations, expansions, tensions, and shifting.
STENFLEX
rubber-metal pipe connectors can only work properly if they are installed ac-
®
cording to good professional practice. Their service life depends not only on the
operating conditions, but primarily on whether they are installed correctly. Rubber-metal
pipe connectors are not simple pipe elements, but parts that have to be checked
regularly.
Rubber-metal pipe connectors are special pipeline system components. STENFLEX
not give any guarantee for reproduced products or modifications of the original products.
To avoid installation errors, please observe the following instructions under conside-
ration of the dimensioned technical diagrams in our catalogue.
CAUTION: FAILURE to comply may lead to the destruction of the rubber-metal pipe
connector, personal injuries, or environmental endangerment.
