1.14 OPERATION: INSTALLER PARAMETER MENU

From normal operating status, press and hold the MODE and SET and – keys simultaneously until "rC"
appears on the display. In these conditions the + and – keys allow you respectively to increase and decrease
the value of the parameter while the MODE key allows you to move on to the next parameter in cyclic mode.
Press SET to return to normal operating status.

1.14.1 rC : Setting the rated current of the electric pump

This parameter must be set the same as the current on the motor data plate (Amps) in the configuration
in which it is used (power supply 230V for A.D. M/T – power supply 400V for A.D. T/T).

1.14.2 Fn : Setting the rated frequency

This parameter defines the rated frequency of the electric pump; to modify the pre-set value, press "+"
for at least 3 seconds.
However the frequency must be set as indicated on the data plate of the electric pump motor.

1.14.3 rt : Setting the direction of rotation

Possible values: 0 and 1
If the direction of rotation of the electric pump is not correct, it is possible to invert the direction of rotation
by changing this parameter, even with the motor switched on .
If it is not possible to observe the direction of rotation of the motor, proceed as follows:
Open a utility and observe the frequency (parameter Fr) and the current (parameter C1).
Without changing the amount of water taken, change the parameter rt and observe the frequency Fr
and the current C1 again.
The correct parameter rt is the one which, with the same amount of water taken, requires a lower
frequency Fr and current C1.

1.14.4 od : Setting the operating mode of the ACTIVE DRIVER

This parameter accepts the values 1 and 2. The device is factory set with the mode suited to the most
common type of system. In the event of pressure oscillations that do not stabilise via parameters GI and GP,
change to mode 2.

1.14.5 rP : Setting the fall in pressure for restarting

Expresses, in bars, the drop in pressure that makes the electric pump restart.
"rP" may be set from a minimum of 0.1 to a maximum of 1.5 bar.
"rP" is equipped with a limiting system depending on the combination of the SP value so as to have in
any case a minimum restarting pressure of 0.3 bar.
Note: In the case of operation with the control unit, this parameter cannot be modified as it is managed
exclusively by the control system. In the event of loss in communication, rP returns to its original status
and the stored value is restored automatically (for more information, refer to the control unit manual).

1.14.6 Ad : Setting the interconnection address

The ACTIVE DRIVER the set-up of pressure units comprising multiple ACTIVE DRIVERS, with or
without supervision by the control unit.
The Ad address can be set with the following values: "- -", 1, 2 and 3, the meanings of which are described
below
"- -" the communication is disabled
"1" referring to the secondary ACTIVE DRIVER.
"2" referring to the primary ACTIVE DRIVER.
"3" for communication with the control unit. (excluding A.D. M/T 1.0)

1.14.7 Eb : Enabling the booster

When two ACTIVE DRIVER units are interconnected with each other, in the case where only one ACTIVE
DRIVER is not able to meet the utility requirements, there is the option of activating two electric pumps at
the same time.
Eb = 1 : The master-booster operating mode is disabled, therefore only one electric pump at a time will be
active. If during operation the master electric pump is not able to satisfy the utility, the booster
electric pump will not be switched on.
