Fondue

Prick a piece of food onto the fondue fork.

Place the fork in the heated mixture. If using oil or stock,
allow the piece of food to cook by resting the fork on the
fondue ring. If using cheese or chocolate, you only have to
dip the piece of food in the fondue.
• If using oil, make sure the food is not too moist,
otherwise the oil may spit.
• To avoid damage, do not prick the forks into the pan.

Remove the fork from the pan. The food can now be eaten.
• Be careful, the food will be hot!

Cleaning and maintenance

• Never move the appliance whilst it is switched on or is
still hot. Switch off the appliance,and wait until it has
cooled down before moving it.
• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents to clean
the appliance.
• Make sure the plug has been removed from the plug
socket before cleaning the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Make sure moisture does not come into contact with the
appliance's electrical components.

Remove the plug from the plug socket and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.

Remove the mixture from the fondue pan. Use kitchen
paper to dry the pan.

Clean the fondue pan with warm soapy water.
• Cleaning tip: place a cup of water and a small amount of
washing-up liquid in the pan. Set the heating element to
the lowest setting. Leave for 10 minutes and then turn off
the appliance. Rinse the pan thoroughly and then dry it.

in a dishwasher.

Clean the heating base with a damp cloth. Dry it thoroughly
afterwards.

appliance to our service department. A damaged power
cord can be replaced solely by our service department,
who have the special tools required for the repair.
• Make sure that the appliance and the power cord do not
come in contact with sources of heat, such as a hot hob
or naked flame.
