Choosing the right water
1.
This Garment Steamer may be used with normal tap water. However, if the water
of the region in which you live is especially hard, it is recommended to use distilled
water to prolong the life of your garment steamer.
2.
Do not use water than has been desalinated with chemicals.
How to use:
1.
Make sure the water tank is filled with water.
2.
Plug it into the appropriate electrical outlet. Make sure cord is unwrapped from
bottom of the unit.
Turn the On/Off switch to On "I" (model GCSTGS5011). Turn the On/Off Adjustable
3.
Steam Level Dial to the desired setting (1, 2, 3, or 4) (model GCSTGS5016).
Wait for about 60 seconds (model GCSTGS5011) or 45 seconds (model
4.
GCSTGS5016) until it starts to release steam.
5.
Grasp the handle of the steam nozzle with the steam holes facing away from you.
Start at the bottom of the fabric to allow the steam to rise inside and outside,
removing wrinkles. Slowly move the nozzle from the bottom to the top of the fabric.
Remove the nozzle from the garment and smooth the fabric with your free hand.
6.
Repeat the process as many times until you achieve the desired result.
NOTE: WATER VARIES BY REGION. TO ENSURE YOUR GARMENT STEAMER
CONTINUES TO OPERATE, NEVER STORE WITHOUT CLEANING AND REMOVING
EXCESS WATER FROM THE WATER TANK AND INSIDE OF THE UNIT. CAUTION:
THE UNIT MUST BE COOLED DOWN COMPLETELY BEFORE CLEANING AND
EMPTYING OUT THE WATER REMAINING IN THE WATER RESERVOIR AND
BEFORE REMOVING THE DRAINAGE PLUG. WHEN THE UNIT IS OFF AND NOT IN
USE, ENSURE ALL WATER HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE WATER TANK AND
ALSO FROM INSIDE OF THE UNIT (BY REMOVING THE DRAINAGE PLUG UNDER
THE UNIT AND DRAINING OUT THE WATER).

GARMENTS THAT CANNOT BE OPENED SUCH AS POLOS AND T-SHIRTS TO
AVOID COVERING NOZZLE HOLDER COMPLICATING NOZZLE AND GARMENT
REMOVAL. (TURN OFF THE UNIT WHEN REMOVING THE GARMENT FROM
THE BUILT IN OR PERSONAL HANGER. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING
GARMENTS FROM THE BUILT- IN HANGER OR PERSONAL HANGER AS THE
NOZZLE FACEPLATE AND BRISTLE BRUSH ARE VERY HOT).
