burning. If the instrument is filled when it is still
hot, there is the risk that the water will be
instantly vaporized and can spray out from the
filler neck. Never fill steam producing devices
when they are hot.

saFety ValVe

The Steamer X3 has a built-in safety valve that
automatically opens if the pressure surpasses 6
bar. Under normal circumstances, the heater will
shut off before the pressure reaches a critical
level. If the safety valve activates, shut off the
instrument and remove the plug from the outlet.
If this occurs, the instrument should be checked
by the manufacturer as a precaution.
MaIntenanCe desCalIng
The Steamer X3 must undergo a descaling
procedure on a regular basis. The frequency of
this procedure depends on the hardness of the
water used (calcium content). Use the supplied
test strips to determine the hardness of the water.
Important:
The tank should be regularly rinsed once a week,
even when using water treatment/decalcification
systems (salt and/or phosphate based).
