BYPASS MODE

If the start has failed in Standard mode and with the precharge, the vehicle's systems may not allow the start as the
battery voltage is < 8V. In that case, follow the BYPASS steps.
1 Only follow the first step of the precharge mode (see above).

Start your engine.
When the engine starts, remove the clamps from the vehicle.
Check the connections before proceeding to the next step.
DO NOT INVERT THE POLARITIES.
Press the ON/OFF button
your vehicle.
Start your engine.
During cold weather, put the car key in preheating mode. The icon
Connect the red clamp to the battery's (+) and the black clamp to the battery's (-).
Unplug the (+) connector from your battery's terminal
and connect the STARTRONIC's red clamp (+) to it.
Connect the black clamp (-) to the (-) terminal on the
battery.
to activate the BYPASS mode and wait 5 seconds before starting
Connect the red clamp (+) to the battery's (+) termi-
nal.
Remove the red clamp (+) from the battery's (+)
terminal.
