Operation
The modular extraction hood is placed over the working area
and has to be connected to an external extraction/filtration
system. The bottom roof panels work as a deflector plate,
directing the airflow to the slots of the hood. The extracted air
leaves the hood in the middle through one or two connection
flanges mounted on top.
The use of optional welding strips further optimizes the airflow
and provides adequate visual protection against exposure to
welding light (dark green and orange-red welding strips only).
