This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
•
Wipe the grill plates with a damp cloth.
•
Your grill may smoke a little the first time you use it. This is normal and will soon disappear.
PREPARATION
•
Sit your grill on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
•
Centre the drip tray under the front of the grill, so it catches any run-off.
•
Pull out the latches to unlock the grill.

Put the plug into the power socket.
Set the switch to the I position. The thermostat light will come on and the display will show

ON.
3.
The thermostat light will cycle on and off as the thermostat operates.
4.
When the thermostat light goes off your grill is at the correct cooking temperature.
CONTACT GRILLING
Contact grilling tends to be faster because both plates are in contact with the food.
1.
Place the food onto the lower plate using a spatula or tongs.
2.
Close the grill.

The hinge is articulated to cope with thick or oddly shaped foods.
•
The grill plates should be roughly parallel, to avoid uneven cooking.
