charging
Battery charging consists of 8 individual phases:
"Gentle Charging" (note: "Discharging" LED lashes)
Gentle charging is employed for deep discharged batteries. The
battery is charged until it is ready for normal charging (12.0V), then
the normal charging procedure commences.
Desulphurisation (note: "Weak Charge" LED lashes)
The desulphurisation phase is employed if the battery has not been
used for a longer period of time.
Main charging (note: "Weak Charge" LED lashes)
The battery is charged with a constant current of up to approx. 85% of
the capacity in this phase.
Absorption (note: "Medium Charge" LED lashes)
The battery is charged with a constant voltage of up to approx. 98%
of the capacity in this phase.
