Error indications
Flashing warning light:
•
The terminals are not connected to the battery.
•
The power supply cable is not connected or the power switch is not acti-
vated.
•
Power supply: overload, i.e. a voltage drop due to charging with a current
greater than the nominal current value (8/15/30 A).
Continuously-illuminated warning light:
Prior to charging:
•
Overvoltage: i.e. the 12 V battery charger is connected to the 24 V battery.
•
Terminal short circuit.
•
Incorrect terminal polarity (e.g. plus on minus or vice versa).
During charging:
•
The battery cannot be charged within the time conigured on the safety
timer. Repeated charging can be helpful if the battery is larger than the
recommended maximum size. Try to utilise the intelligent boost function if
the warning light illuminates during charging.
Two causes are possible if the battery tester fails to indicate anything dur-
ing the test:
•
The battery is extremely deep discharged in the vehicle.
•
Incorrect polarity during connection of the battery to the battery charger.
