9 Maintenance and cleaning

9.1 Torch neck

DANGER

Risk of burns

Burns caused by hot parts (torch, welded parts).
• Allow the torch to cool down completely
1 Remove welding spatters from the contact tip, the insulator and the protective shield and
spray them with original BINZEL
2 Check wear parts for visible damage and replace them, if required.

9.2 Coaxial cable

1 Check all screw joints for tight fit.
2 Replace wire guide liner when worn or soiled.
3 Replace defective, deformed or worn parts.

9.3 Cleaning the wire guide

WARNING
Risk of injury
Serious injuries caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable protective clothing, in
particular safety goggles.
1 Lay out the welding torch in stretched position.
2 Unscrew retaining sleeve / clamping screw and pull out liner.
3 Clean liner and coaxial cable from both sides with compressed air.
4 Slide adjusted liner into coaxial cable and secure with retaining sleeve / clamping screw.
