It is important to read the following notes before using the cases.
WHEN THE CASES ARE MOUNTED, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE LOA-
DED, GREATER SIDE WIND SUSCEPTIBILITY WILL CAUSE A CHANGE IN
VEHICLE HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS WHILE RIDING, TAKING CURVES,
AND BRAKING. EXERCISE CAUTION IN HIGH WINDS. BECAUSE OF THE
CHANGED HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS, APPROACH THE RECOM-
MENDED MAXIMUM SPEED OF 150 KM/H SLOWLY.
Always use two cases at the same time and distribute the load evenly bet-
ween the two sides.
Secure the load against slipping.
Ensure that the load never exceeds 10 kg per case.
When cleaning with a pressure cleaner, keep a distance of at least one meter
away from the cases.
Opening the case
- Key position: 90° to the right.
- Push in the push buttons on the left and right: The case can be opened.
Closing the case
- The push buttons must be pushed in on the left and right: The case can be
closed.
- Push the lid closed firmly with both hands on the closures until the buttons
jump out. This indicates that the closures have engaged and the case is closed.
- Return the key to the locked position and pull it out.
Assembly
- Turn the key 45° counterclockwise.
- Swivel out the locking lever (4).
