Beam and Push Plate
Lubricate the beam before each use with engine oil. Lubricate the top of the beam and under the top
edge so the push plate will easily move across the beam.
If necessary adjust the side bolts so the wedge moves freely. There should be no excess space
between the push plate and beam.
Hose Clamps
Check, before each use, if hose clamps on the suction hose (attached to the side of the pump) are
tight. Check the hose clamps on the return hose at least once a season.
