3) Remove the PC cover.
4) Remove the blank bezel plate for the 3.5"/5.25" slot in your computer.

2.2 Setting Up Master and Slave for Your DynaMO

Locate the IDE ports in your PC.
2.
Your PC may have 1 (Primary) or 2 (Primary and Secondary) IDE ports.
3.
Each port will have 1 (Master) or 2 (Master and Slave) IDE connectors to
connect to drives.
4.
Locate an unused IDE connector to attach your DynaMO.
Note: If your PC does not have an unused IDE connector available for your
DynaMO drive, you will need to;
-
add an additional IDE cable to your secondary port, or,
-
replace your IDE cable with an IDE cable with 2 connectors, or,
-
remove an existing IDE device
5.
Determine the current IDE configuration in your PC in Table 1 below.
6.
Locate the Jumper Pin on the rear of the DynaMO drive.(Table 2)
7.
Set the Jumper Pin to the recommended setting below.
