Q: How can I make multiple partitions on a single MO disk?
A: Run the MO Formatter and select [PC/AT HDD type] in the [Select a
Format Type] list box. Then follow the instruction on the screen. Please
note that some operating systems do not allow multiple partitions on the
removable disk.
Q: What is the difference between normal and low-level format?
A: A normal format, Super floppy format or PC/AT HDD format, only
initializes the disk and erases all files on the disk. A low-level format
scans the entire surface of the MO disk, which can increase drive
performance with some older MO disks.
Q: When is a low-level format recommended?
A: A low-level format is recommended when older media are very slow to
access files.
