Surface Mount:
3.) Mount the surface mount plate onto a 4" or 3.5" octagonal junction box (See Fig. 3 and Fig. 4).
NOTE: The j-box is not provided with the fixture.
4.) Hinge the fixture to the surface mount plate using the metal ring on the fixture, and the hook on
the plate (See Fig. 5).
