The MULTIMEDIA 2100 DIGITAL set can also be connected to a headphone jack on the TV. A cable
adapter is generally required for this purpose (not included in delivery). The TV's speakers are usually
switched off automatically when using the headphone jack. The TV volume should be set to a middle
setting and the overall listening volume should be adjusted via the MULTIMEDIA 2100 DIGITAL remote
control.
Connecting an additional audio source to LINE IN 2:
An additional audio source (e.g. MP3 player, CD player, etc.) can be connected to audio input LINE IN 2
(4) (3.5 mm stereo jack). The necessary connecting cable is not included in delivery.
Connecting an additional audio source to DIGITAL IN:
An additional audio source (e.g. TV, CD player with digital output, etc.) can be connected to digital input
DIGITAL IN (2). The Multimedia 2100 Digital has an optical and koaxial digital input. Please use only one
of them, not both at the same time. The necessary connecting cable is not included in delivery.
Important note:
When connecting audio sources with variable output level (e.g. connection via headphone jack or a TV
set with variable audio output), the level of the audio source should be set in such a way that no distortion
can be heard at the maximum volume setting of the Magnat MULTIMEDIA 2100 DIGITAL. The volume

Mains connection:
Connect the power connector of the subwoofer (9) to an electrical socket via the mains cable (I).
OPERATION
Operating elements on the subwoofer (fig. 4):
Mains switch (7): After installation use this switch to turn on the device. If the device is not going to be
used for a prolonged period, it should be switched off.
STBY/ON button (6): This button can be used to switch between the standby and operating modes. This
function is also possible via the remote control.
Fuse (8): Only use a fuse with the parameters indicated next to the fuse holder, on the rear of the
amplifier.
The infrared receiver (fig. 5):
LED status indication (10): indicates the system's possible states:
• LED is illuminated red: The system is in the standby mode.
• LED is illuminated green: The system is switched on and input LINE IN 1 is active.
• LED is illuminated purple: The system is switched on and input LINE IN 2 is active.
• LED is illuminated blue: The system is switched on and input DIGITAL IN is active.
Sensor for the remote control (11): Please aim at this sensor when using the remote control.
