2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY

The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience
and/ or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instruction on how to operate the device.

To prevent the device from accidentally switching on,
make sure the switch is on the OFF position before
connecting to a power source.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE

Before adjusting, replacing accessories, or storing
the appliance, unplug the appliance from the
power source. This will decrease the possibility of
accidentally switching it on.

When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device,
who have not read the user manual. The device may
pose a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.

sources, as well as near direct sunlight. High
temperatures can damage the cooling capacity and
rise the consumption of electricity.

The device must not be connected to the outlet other

outlet adapter or multiple sockets.

If the door is opened too often, there is increased
energy consumption, which could lead to possible

The power cord connected to the appliance must be

3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is used for cooling and storing food products.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
After unpacking the device, check its technical condition.
Set the device in an upright position. In order to level the
device, it is necessary to use adjustable legs. The device
is a free-standing device and is not suitable for durable
furniture integration. There should be at least 10 cm
distance between each side of the device and the wall or
other objects. Keep the device away from hot surfaces.
The device should always be used when positioned on an
even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out
of the reach of children and persons with limited mental
and sensory functions. Install the device making sure that
constant access to the main plug is ensured. The device can
be placed with a rear panel to the wall. To ensure adequate
air circulation, the ventilation openings at the back of the
device must not be blocked.
3.3. DEVICE USE
Control panel:
•
The knob on the control panel has the following
adjustment functions:
»
increasing the cooling power if it is turned
clockwise (MAX),
»
decreasing the cooling power if it is turned
counter clockwise (0 = no cooling).
To set the right temperature using the knob, it is
recommended to use a flat-ended tool, such as
a screwdriver.
The mark in the drawing (MAX, 0) is not physically
located on the control panel, it is an illustration of the
method of controlling the device.
•
Use the light switch to turn on the lighting:
»
I – Lighting is on,
»
O – Lighting is off.
Directions for use:
•
Do not place warmed up drinks in the device.
•
To ensure adequate air circulation, do not overfill the
device.
•
In the case of temporary power failure, it is advisable
not to open the door more often than necessary, so
as to avoid letting the cooled air out.
•
Depending on the quantity of stored products and the
ambient temperature, set the operating temperature
of the device using the temperature controller.
•
Increasing the cooling power to the maximum may
cause continuous operation of the device and create
a layer of ice inside the device. Avoid operating at
maximum cooling power.
•
If the device is not to be used for a long time, it should
be cleaned. If the device is no longer used without
cleaning, it may smell unpleasant or become mouldy.
Before storing the device for a longer time without
use, it is recommended to clean it and leave the door
open.

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Before each cleaning, adjustment, replacement
of accessories and if the device is not used, it is
necessary to pull out the mains plug and cool the
device completely.
•
Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface
•
Use only mild detergents suitable for washing surfaces
which come into contact with food to wash the device.
•
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
•
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
•
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
•
Remember to prevent water from penetrating inside
the device through vents in the housing of the device
•
Regular inspections of the device must be carried out
in terms of its technical efficiency and any damages
•
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
•
Before first use, remove all elements and clean them
along with the entire device..
•
Use food-grade and non-scratch cleaning utensils. Do
not use sharp and metal objects.
•
Do not clean the device with an acidic substance,
agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or
other chemical substances because it may damage
the device.
Defrosting
Water evaporates inside the device and ice forms on its
walls. This is normal. If the layer of frost is more than 3 mm
(1/8 „) thick, the device should be defrosted and cleaned
to avoid unnecessary energy consumption and inefficient
operation:
1.
Remove all objects stored inside, disconnect the
device from the power supply and leave it open. It is
recommended to protect the floor around the device
from getting wet from melting ice.
2.
After defrosting the frost or ice-covered surfaces,
clean the device and let it dry.
3.
Reconnect to mains power.
4.
Set the cooling power to the maximum.
5.
Put products you intend to cool into the device.
6.
After about 4-6 hours, set the cooling power to
match the amount of products in the cooler.
Cleaning
1.
Disconnect the device from the power source.
2.
Clean the inside of the device with warm water and
a neutral detergent. To ensure its efficient operation,
thoroughly clean the rear and bottom part of the
interior of the device. Use soap and water to clean
the door seal.
3.
Thoroughly dry all surfaces.
4.
Reconnect the device to the power source.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device to municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to electric and electrical device recycling and
collection point. Check the symbol on the product, user
manual and packaging. The plastics used to construct the
device can be recycled in accordance with their markings.
