Release the emergency-stop switch
(3) by turning the red control element
clockwise (approx. 1/4 turn)

emergency the machine can be
stopped immediately by pressing the
emergency-stop switch (3)
In an emergency press the emer-
gency-stop switch. The machine
must only be run with the top
cover closed.
sPEED sElECtIon
It is crucial that the machine is
shut down before opening the
belt housing.
The speed can be set to 6 different speed
settings by turning over the V-belt:
•
Remove protective cover (A 1).
•
Release clamping for securing the
motor (B 22) on the right.
•
Set belt to the desired setting.
•
Tension belt by pushing the lever for
the motor adjustment (A 18) back-
wards. The belt must be tensioned
so that it can be pushed in by maxi-
mum 0.5 cm when light pressure is
applied.

CHuCK
•
The supplied chuck key is required to
open and close the chuck.
•
Insert the chuck key into one of the
side chuck bore holes so that the
toothing of the key interlocks with the
toothing of the chuck.
•
Turn the key anti-clockwise to open
the chuck.
•
Turn the key clockwise to close the
chuck.
REMoVInG tHE DRIll CHuCK
The drill chuck is driven out of the drill-
ing spindle using the supplied ejector
wedge.To do so, move the drilling spin-
dle down until the ejector slot in the
side of the spindle is visible. Insert the
ejector wedge into the slot and strike
it with a hammer to drive out the drill
chuck.

A scale (35) indicating the drilling depth
is shown on the axis of the advance
knob (20). The advance can be read
from it in millimeters.

With the machine switched off, move
the drill bit lightly on to the surface of
