• To secure the riser to the cabinet, place the riser
(with louvers facing the wall) under the cabinet. Align
the riser and cabinet mounting holes. Drive 4 sup-
plied wood screws to install the riser to the cabinet.
NOTE: If desired, you may choose to install the
riser with the louvers facing forward.
Wood screws
• Drive 4 hood mounting screws into the threaded
nuts on the bottom of the riser leaving 1/4" pro-
truding from the riser. The 1/4" gap will provide
the clearance to engage the key hole slots in the
top of the hood.
Mounting Screw
• Install the damper assembly on top of the hood
with 4 Phillips screws supplied.

• Lift the hood to the installation position. Locate the
house wiring and route it through the knockout on
top of the hood. Lift the hood and engage the key
hole slots over the mounting screws and slide it
back against the wall. Tighten the mounting screws.
Add 2 additional screws at the front center of the
riser.
• Install 4 wall screws and washers into the anchors
or studs to complete the hood mounting.
