completely (as far as stop position). Otherwise the unit can heat up, even if the control lamps
are NOT illuminated.
After having finished grilling, turn the thermostat control(s) to "-" mark as far as stop position
and for safety reason unplug.
Open the lid (if closed) and remove the grilled food gently (avoid damaging the non-stick
coated grill surface, by using wooden kitchen utensils only).
Let the unit cool down. Then clean the unit with a slightly damp cloth and follow the cleaning
instructions in chapter cleaning and care.
Grilling time table
The grilling time table (silkscreen on the lid of the grill) shows guidelines at an average
to grill various food.
Legend to symbols on the lid:
As the grilling time is depending on various facts, it can vary tremendously. Therefore
it can be appraised by own experience only. Size, thickness, kind, weight, original
temperature and content of liquid of the food, as well as individual taste may affect the
grilling time significantly. Means the grilling time of a thin piece of meat with a weight about
100 gr. will not differ a lot, compared to the grilling time of 2 thin pieces of meat lying next
to each other on the grill surface. Grilling time for a piece of meat which is twice as thick,
weighing about 200 gr. will be around twice as much.
