Applicable Bits and Method for Mounting a Bit
1. Mounting and Unmounting a Bit:
a. Hold down the holder clamp as shown in the following diagram and then insert a bit.

b. Rotate the bit to engage the bit notch with the notch inside of the tool, and then insert
the bit until it strikes against the innermost part. Standard bits without notches may also
be used with the ELM series.
c. Release the holder clamp. Now, the bit has been mounted. (See below.)

d. To unmount the bit, push down the holder clamp and pull the bit.
Mismatching of screws and bits may result in wear of the bits and damage to screw heads.
Always use a properly sized bit for your screw heads.
2. Adjusting Torque:
a. A lock nut is used to secure the torque adjustment ring and to prevent it from loosening.
To set torque, align surface A of the lock nut with a desired tick mark on the scale.
