1. Indended use
This circuit is for nCPAP applications. Use it together with Medijet®/ Miniflow® generators. Therefore, pay attention to the Medijet/ Miniflow
user manual.
It is a non-sterile and disposable circuit for single patient use only.

Features and benefits

• Disposable breathing circuits made of corrugate tube are a safe, convenient and cost-effective solution for linking the patient to the driver.
• The system's small weight reduces the risk of trauma to the patient. Nevertheless, the weight of the circuit is not allowed to pull on
the connection to the patient.
• The connections in the circuit are fixated to ensure gas tightness and prevent leakage.

Generator Medijet 1000
Circuit sets: REF 1207/ REF 1207MKI
Humidifier: F&P 900MR850, F&P 900MR810
Medijet circuits are NOT allowed to use in combination with InfantFlow
generator.

Assembly procedure

1. Insert the chamber into the Humidifier.
2. Connect tube b to the ventilator and the chamber. If necessary use the additional connectors d.
3. Connect tube a to the chamber.
4. Plug in the cable for the heating wire.
5. Insert the two temperature sensors. Make sure they are inserted far enough – their tips have to reach into the gas flow.
6. Attach the Medijet/ Miniflow generator to tube a.
7. MINIFLOW: If a pressure measurement is necessary: add the t-piece e between Miniflow and the inspiration tube and connect the
pressure line c with the T-piece and the ventilator.
8. MEDIJET: Connect the pressure line c with the driver and the Medijet.
9. Miniflow: Connect Miniflow and the ventilator with tube d.
10. Test the function and the tightness without contact to the patient according to Medijet's/ Miniflow´s user manual.
11. The system is ready for use.
12. The system is ready for use and safe if no alarms are present.
Change the tubes regularly because of the slight immunodeficiency of the patient group and the possible invisible contamination - a change
every 7 days is recommended.
Warning
DO NOT – reprocess this single use circuit
DO NOT – soak, rinse, wash or sterilize this product
DO NOT – use humidifier without gasflow
DO NOT – pull, stretch or "milk" the circuit tubing
DO NOT – use this circuit if gas temperatures in the outlet of the humidifier can exceed 154°F (68°C)
DO NOT – use this circuit if any connections are loose
The circuits must NOT be allowed to sag between the patient and the humidifier, thereby preventing a siphon from developing.
The circuits must NOT be connected to cold bridges, such as a bed, for example.
The temperature sensor near the patient must not be affected by heat from the incubator.
The influence of external temperature fluctuations should be avoided for the entire system.
The humidifier should be located lower than the patient.
Caution
Discard the circuit if the whole circuit or components are damaged or if damage is suspected.
Only single patient use is allowed.
The patient should be constantly monitored whenever this device is in use.
Connect the circuit with the ventilator/ driver and Medijet/ Miniflow and test the whole assembly before application to the patient.
Storage of the circuit has to be clean and dry.
Make sure the disconnection alarm of the ventilator is working when using this circuit.
Following installation of the tube, check the connections and the device display (for alarms) to be able to ensure a safe and ready-to-use condition
While passing the circuit through any sliding covers of incubator or baby warmer, don´t pull at the flexible endpiece. Preferably, push the circuit
from the outside to reach the dedicated length on the inside
