OPERATION

CONTROL PANEL:

1. Speed display (rpm) / temperature display ºC)
2. Speed indicator led (rpm)
3. Temperature indicator led (ºC)
4. Temperature / speed selection
5. Up/Down parameters.
6. Start / Stop
7. Over temperature alarm
STARTING UP :
• Switch on rear part main switch.
• Place the flask centred on the stirrer's plate.
• Leave the magnet into the flask.
• To adjust a temperature value, press key (4) until the temperature
indicator (3) is on.
• Press keys (5) to select the desired temperature value.
• To adjust a speed value, press key (4) until the speed indicator
(2) is on.
• Press keys (5) to select the desired speed value.
• To start up stirring, press "START/STOP" (6) key.
• Press «START/STOP» (6) again to stop stirring.
(*) NOTE1: During operation it is possible to change the set values in
the same way as in the waiting mode.
(*) NOTE 2: Processor memory retains the last operating values used
before pressing «START / STOP» (6).
Over temperature protective device:
ED and ED-C models have an over temperature device which cuts
the power to the heating element when the temperature reaches over
390ºC (approx.). When this occurs, pilot lamp "7" lights up. If this failure
usually repeats, please contact your technical service.
Special caution with ED-C model:
ED-C model includes a ceramic heater plate which allows a better
temperature control but has, as disadvantage, its greater fragility.
To avoid electric risks do not use the stirrer if ceramic plate
surface shows any crack.
