Introduction
The sounders provide the low frequencies required to conform to
BS5839 Pt. 1. The dc versions are polarised for line monitoring and
feature a second tone option via a third wire. The sounder beacon
combined units and the flange mount unit are two tone only using tones
3 and 14 for 24V and tones 5 and 4 for the 12V unit.

Note 3: Linking the 2nd tone terminal to +Ve will permanently damage the circuitry.
Note 4: RS stock nos. 239-4313 & 239-4329 have tone 3 & 14 only.
Note 5: RS stock nos. 239-4335 239-4313, and 239-4329 have all 28 tones.
