Proceed as previously to program steps 3 and 4 .
If, by any reason, you want to omit one of the steps, you
must simply select the value "- - -" for the time. This
means that program will finish in this step.
Depending on altitude above sea level, water composi-
tion and atmospheric pressure, water may boil at slightly
above or below 100 ºC.
The electronic controls will automatically detect when
the water boils, and hold it at that temperature through-
out the step in queston.
Another possibility is to detect the exact boiling point in
your laboratory: set a temperature of 110 ºC. The tem-
perature of the water in the tank will rise slowly to a
level at which it holds steady. This is the laboratory boil-
ing point, and this temperature should be programmed
whenever you wish to polymerise at boiling point.
Also, to prevent excessive moisture due to steam given
off by the polymeriser, TALLERES MESTRAITUA,
S.L. recommends you do not programs the unit for more
than 95 ºC. This temperatura, kept for the necessary
time, is enough for polymerisation.
STORING PROGRAMS IN THE MEMORY
The electronic controls of the unit allow you to store up
to 5 different memories. To store a program, proceed as
follows:
First of all, select the program you want to store, as
explained in previous sections.
Once you have selected the values you want to store,
select the program ( P1, P2, P3, P4 or Pr ) in which
you want to store the dosage by pressing the P key as
many times as required.
Finally, keep the P key pressed for a few seconds. The
display will flicker once to indicate that the values
have been stored in the memory.
Memory Pr is reserved for the direct heating program
(look at the next section).

DIRECT HEATING PROGRAM
A direct heating program has only one heating time,
only one set temperature and only one keeping time.
Everytime you turn the unit on, the direct heating pro-
gram will be loaded by default. This situation is indi-
cated by pilot
.
In order to modify the values of this direct heating pro-
gram, simply program a cycle with only one rise and
save it in memory Pr (look at previous section). These
new values will be loaded everytime you turn the unit
on. If, by error, you try to save a program with several
rises in memory Pr , nothing will be saved.
USING THE PROGRAMS STORED IN THE
MEMORY
To use a program stored in the memory, press the P
key as many times as required to select the program
you want ( P1, P2, P3, P4 or Pr ).
Press the key
to display the values stored.

OPERATION
Place the muffle tray in the bottom of the tank.
Fill the tank with water up around 10 cm below the
rim. There should always be at least 20 cm of water
in the tank, to prevent damage to the heating element.
Place the muffles on the muffle tray, using long,
sturdy gauntlets to protect against splashes, a face-
mask and muffle tongs. TALLERES MESTRAITUA,
S.L. recommends MESTRA tongs. Close over the
cover.
Switch on main switch (C). Some of the controls on
the panel will flash, indicating that the polymeriser is
ready for operation.
Program the unit as indicated above to ensure that the
programs stored meet your own requirements. These
programs can be used and modified as required in fu-
ture.
Select the program you want to run ( P1, P2, P3, P4 o
Pr ). If you do not select any program, then the direct
heating program will run (look at the previous sec-
tion).
Press the START/STOP
