Diagnostics
When the battery charger is powered, the POWER light does
not switch on.
Make sure that the power supply cable is not interrupted and that
the fuse is intact. Replace the fuse if necessary.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it can only be re-
placed by service centres authorised by the manufacturer.
The battery charger is damaged if, once it is powered, the
CHARGE lamp:
- is steadily illuminated when the battery is not inserted
- does not switch on when a battery that certainly works is insert-
ed
- blinks for more than an hour when a battery that certainly works
is inserted
- stays on for more than four hours when a battery that certainly
works is inserted.
Do not tamper with the battery charger if a failure occurs:
please consult a service centre authorised by the manufac-
turer.
The battery is damaged in these cases:
- when it is inserted in a powered battery charger that certainly
works, the CHARGE light does not illuminate
- when it is inserted in a powered battery charger that certainly
works, the CHARGE light blinks for more than an hour.
- after recharging, it lasts for less than an hour.
