• Before sterilization, the instruments must be pre-disinfected, cleaned, and
tested.
• Reassemble all the parts of the AspeO® but for the front cannula, without
any filters.
• Check that the device does not have any point of corrosion or cracks and
control its correct functioning. Make sure that the product is dry, if necessary
dry the possible water residues with pressured medical air.
Use the device and the autoclave appropriate bags of sterilization in conformity
with the NF EN868 standard. Immediately store the device after cleaning.
Always store only a device per bag. According to the conditions of use, a double
packing may be necessary.
• In order to avoid a retention of water, place the bag inside the autoclave so that
the hollow parts are directed downwards.
• If the autoclave proposes several type of cycles, select a cycle for medical
devices (at least 134°C, 2 bar, during 18 minutes.)

After sterilization, check the absence of residual water inside and outside
the packaging. Check the correct change of colour on the indicators.
• Keep the devices stored in sterilization bag away from the light, the
humidity and contamination of all kinds. Follow the recommendations of the
manufacturer of packaging.
• The time of conservation of the device after sterilization should not exceed
1 month.
• Label the devices by specifying the expiry date. Beyond the expiry date redo the
cleaning and sterilization cycles.

All the repairs must be carried out by manufacturer made parts and subparts.
Repairs must only be done by one authorised dealer or by the After Sales
Service of the manufacturer.
For any revision or repair, the medical device must be returned back, complete
and sterile, with a certificate of sterility.
It must be joined with a document describing the technical problem while
mentioning the name and address of the dental surgeon.
So that the requests for guarantees may be taken into consideration, please
have the device returned with a copy of the invoice or of the delivery slip.
Replacement parts are available for 7 years beyond sales discontinuation.
