6. Raise Exhaust – Lift the exhaust back into position and reattach the 3 rubber isolators.
5. Installing Hitch – Raise the hitch into position. Thread the fishwire through the appropriate
slot to prevent bolt and block to be pushed into the frame. Install fasteners as shown. Torque
the 1/2" fastener to 75 ft-lbs (102N-m), torque the M14 fastener to 100 ft-lbs (136 N-m), and
torque the M12 fasteners to 68 ft-lbs (92 N-m).
Proper torque is needed to
keep the hitch secure to
the vehicle when towing.
