Cushions & Overlays
Instructions for Use
Remove all packaging before use.
Propad cushions should be placed on a chair with the zip towards the back.
Propad overlays should be placed on top of a mattress with the profiled side
facing up.
To ease storage and handling the Propad Overlay is compact rolled. Whilst this in
no way effects the performance or longevity of the product, it is advisable that the
product be unrolled within 21 days of receipt. When the overlay is unrolled for
the first time, allow approximately 20 minutes before use (depending on room
temperature) to optimise performance.
The covers have non-slip bases specifically designed to inhibit the cushions and
overlays from slipping once positioned correctly.
Avoid the use of additional covers or pads between the patient and the cushion
or overlay. This may reduce the products effectiveness.
When fitting a cover, care must be taken to ensure that the corners of the foam
core are positioned correctly into the corners of the cover. It is also important that
the profiled side of the foam is facing away from the cover's non-slip base.
It is advisable to rotate the overlay on a weekly basis. Details of how to do this

are printed on the Dura-Cover. This prolongs the life and performance of the
overlay.
