If you remove the external contacts at a later date, make sure you replace the wire links on
the Alarm and Tamper terminals.
Figure 3 shows how to connect an external reed switch.
Wiring a Roller Shutter or Shock Sensor
When connecting the transmitter to roller shutter or shock sensors, connect the alarm
contacts of the sensor to the terminals marked "Alarm". If present, connect the tamper
contacts of the sensor to the terminals marked "Tamper". If the sensor does not have
tamper contacts:
EITHER a) Connect a spare pair of wires in the cable to the Tamper terminals and short
circuit the far end of the pair.
OR b) Fit a wire link to short circuit the Tamper terminals in the transmitter.
When connecting the transmitter to roller shutter sensors that require power (magnetic
type sensors) connect the 3V suply from the transmitter to the sensor as shown in Figure
6.

To use the 735r with a shock- or roller shutter sensor make sure that link LK1 is open
circuit (jumper NOT fitted).
