how to Use

This product is for household use only.
GETTING STARTED
• Remove all packing material and, if applicable, any stickers from the product;

remove and save literature.
• Please go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty; for additional
information go to www.georgeforemancooking.com.
• Your appliance comes partially assembled in the box.
• Wash griddle and drip tray as instructed in CARE AND CLEANING section of this
manual. This will remove any traces of dust or residue left from manufacturing and
shipping.

Note: Make sure all pieces are dry prior to use.
• Select a dry, level location on a heat resistant surface where unit is to be used,
leaving enough space between back of unit and wall to allow heat to flow without
damage to cabinets and walls.

Place the drip tray under the front section of the
griddle through the projections on either side of the
opening (B).
POWER CORD
Unwind the cord and insert the temperature control probe
into the probe receptacle on the right side of the griddle
(C).
USING YOUR GRIDDLE
1. Plug cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the ON/
OFF button in the center of the temperature control
probe. The light next to the WARM setting will flash
green.
2. To begin preheating, set the desired temperature by
pressing the UP (▲) button on the temperature control
probe until the orange light to the right of the desired
temperature setting begins to flash (D).
3. The temperature can be changed at any time by
pressing the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons on the
temperature control probe repeatedly. The non-sear
temperature settings range from 300°F to 400°F (see
COOKING CHART for suggested temperature settings).
