to produce vibration. Check tightness of
screws carefully before operation to avoid a
breakdown or accident.
In cold weather or when the tool has not been
used for a long time, let the tool warm up for
several minutes by operating it under no load.
This will loosen up the lubrication. Without
proper warm-up hammering operation is
difficult.
Always be sure you have firm footing. Be sure
no one is below when using the tool in high
locations.
Hold the tool firmly with both hands.
Keep hands away from moving parts.
Do not point the tool at any one in the area
when operating. The bit could fly out and
injure someone seriously.
Do not touch the bit or parts close to the bit
immediately after operation; they may be
extremely hot and could burn your skin.
Always use the auxiliary grip to reduce the
risk of loss of control. Risk of personal injury.
Hold the machine by the insulated gripping
surfaces where the accessory may contact
hidden wiring or the mains cable. If the
accessory contacts a 'live' wire, the exposed
metal parts of the machine can also become
'live'. Risk of electric shock.
After use, do not touch the tip of the
accessory.
When chipping into walls, floors or
wherever "live" electrical wire may be
encountered, do not touch any metal
parts of the tool!

Electrical safety

Always check that the mains voltage is
the same as on the type plate of the
machine.
Replacement of power cords or plugs
Immediately dispose of old cords and plugs once
they have been replaced. It is dangerous to plug a
loose power cord into a mains power socket.
Use of extension leads
Only ever use approved extension leads that are
suitable for the power rating of the machine. The
minimum core thickness is 1.5 mm
using a reel extension lead, always fully unroll the
lead.

3. Assembly

Mounting tool bits
Fig. 3
Lightly oil the bit shaft before inserting it into
the tool holder.
Rotate the stop lever 180º clockwise, while
pulling it towards you
Insert the tool shank into the hexagonal tool
holder: the flat side of the bit towards the side
of the stop lever.
Rotate the stop lever 180º counterclockwise
to lock the bit.

Auxiliary handle

Fig.2
The auxiliary handle can be adjusted to several
positions to have a good control to the tool.

4. Operation

Lubrication
Fig.5
Above this lubricate the tool every time the carbon
brushes are replaced.
Check the oil level of the demolition hammer.
When putting the machine in vertical position
(see fig. 2), the oil level should be till the red
dot indicated on the oil level indicator.
To fill the oil reservoir, the oil level indicator
can be removed with help of the wrench
supplied.
. Whenever
Fill the reservoir with the oil supplied
2
(Multigrade oil SAE 15W40).
ON/OFF switch
Before exchanging a bit, first remove the
power plug from the mains.
Before operation: Ensure the power
switch is in OFF position. If the plug is
connected to the mains while the switch
is in ON position the machine will start
immediately, which could cause serious
injury.
The machine will be damaged easily,
when the grease level is not sufficient
enough!
