Troubleshooting
► Make sure the USB function is activated in
the BIOS and Windows has successfully
recognised the USB port.
► Connect the device to the computer via the
USB port.
or
► Remove the USB cable from the device.
► Plug the power supply into the mains
and connect it to the device.
► Connect the device to the computer via
the USB port.
The disk drive is recognised.
After the device has been connected to the
computer, if the drive symbol appears but data
cannot be transferred, the external power supply
is needed.
► Remove the USB cable from the device.

USB port.
► Close all programs that might access the
drive (e.g. Norton Protected Recycle Bin).
The device behaves like a hard drive. It can be
infected by a virus through any file that you save
on it. For this reason we recommend the use of
an anti-virus program.
