For 5 kV maximum: Thoroughly scrape all wax

4.0 Installation
Install End Caps. Trim conical ends of end caps at

proper guide marks to provide a firm sliding fit on cable
sheath. Slip end caps onto each cable.
Install Mold Body. Slip mold body onto one cable end.

Join conductors with compression-type connectors.
Follow connector manufacturer's instructions.
Multi-conductor Cables. Stagger individual connectors

connectors) and insulate connector with Scotch
Electrical Tape 23. For 600 volts or less, use 3M
Scotchlok
Insulated Butt Connectors.
