Remove fascia panel - Using T25 torxbit socket, remove (6) screws from rear bottom fascia.

Remove underbody panels - Using T25, T27, 10 mm socket, remove (6) screws and (1) flange nut from underbody panel per side.

T25 torxbit socket, remove (1) screw in the upper area behind wheel well trim both sides. (c) Open lift gate. Using T30 torxbit socket, remove (2) screws near trunk weather seal. (d)
Using plastic trim tools, remove the fascia starting at the outer edge near wheel wells, and gently pulling the fascia. (e) Unplug the wiring on passenger side if present.

Remove bumper beam - Using 13 mm socket, remove (3) factory M8 bolts from bumper plate per side. Gently remove the bumper beam and return it to owner.

feed the carriage bolt ① and spacer ② through end panel opening. Pull the wires out through bracket holes and frame rails holes. Remove pull wires and loosely install the conical
washer ③ and ½''nut ④ to the bolt. (c) Install flat washer ⑥, lock washer ⑦, and M8 nut ⑧ to top two end panel studs. Reuse factory M8 flange nut and install it to the bottom
end panel stud with exhaust hanger bracket, see Figure 1.

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged
should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for
connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
