Maintenance
Maintenance includes all work
carried out to keep the unit in

Never use spare parts and
accessories that have not been
authorised by the manufacturer.
Observe the notes on installation
when installing a new line reel.
Installing a New Cutting Line
8.1. Installing a New Line Reel
(Figure A / A1)
Take care not to injury yourself
on the devices used to cut the line.
A new line reel must be installed
once all the line has been used
up.
Never use metal cutting ele-
ments, replacements parts or
accessories that have not been
authorised by the manufacturer.
Please only use the replacement
line reel recommended by the
manufacturer. Replacement line
reels are available from your
specialist dealer.

A) Unplug the mains plug!
B) On the underside of the unit
you will find the cutting head
(10) with the line reel (12)
and line feed button (15).

9. Troubleshooting

General
Faults usually occur if the unit
has not been handled, cared for

Hold the ribbed part of the cut-
ting head tight with one hand.
Use the other hand to press in
the tab located inside the cover.
Turn the cover anticlockwise to
loosen in (Figure K / L).
C) Remove the empty line reel.
Note: If the line reel is not
released automatically, turn it
anticlockwise.
D) Insert the new line reel ensur-
ing that the cutting line is
fed out through one of the
openings in the cutting head
(Figure O).
E) Press down the line reel
against the force of the
spring and secure the reel in
this position by pressing it
briefly to the left or right.
F) Fit the cover and screw it
clockwise until the tab clips
back into place.
Hold the Lawn Trimmer in the
normal working position before
you switch it on again.
8.1.1. Line drawn into the reel

The line cannot be lengthened
automatically it snaps directly at
400 RT
the line reel. Proceed as follows:
A) Unplug the mains plug!

B) Remove the line reel as
described under Point 8.1.
C) Pull the transparent plastic
ring over the line reel
(Figure M).

Care
Please ensure that the air vents
in the motor housing are always
kept free of dirt. Remove grass
and dirt from the safety cover
using a dry cloth or brush after
use.
Storage
We recommend hanging storage
to avoid unnecessary stress on
the cutting head.
