Balance hook
The balance hook on the TrailSeeker tripod
can be used to provide added stability in windy
conditions. To keep the balance hook out of
the way, it is retracted into the bottom of the
center column with a spring mechanism that

can easily be pulled out when needed. To
use the balance hook, pull it down from the
center column. Hang a heavy object, such as a
backpack, from the hook.

To ensure that the tripod legs and pan head are

level, reference either of the two bubble levels
on the TrailSeeker tripod.
