- Cleaning of the dust chamber
and dust capturing container: After
extended use of the band grinder,
the dust chamber and capturing
container may be full.
- Therefore regularly empty these.
- Turn of the device, and allow the
belt sander to come to a complete
halt.
Then set down the device, and pull
the power plug.
Use a piece of wood to empty out
the dust chamber of the belt sander.
Do not put your hands in the dust
chamber!
- Empty the dust capturing device:
open the zipper of the dust
capturing container. Empty the
contents into a dust bin. Slope any
remaining dust off the angle of the
dust capturing container. Now you
can close the zipper. Then you
can reconnect the dust capturing
container to the belt sander.
- Make sure the sand paper is
inserted in the direction of the
arrow as shown on the label 4 on
the machine, otherwise the sand
belt may be cut off.
Installing the sanding band
- Swing the clamping lever all the
way outwards.
Please Make sure that the clamping
lever is swung beyond the first dead
centre.
- The sanding band is now loose,
and can be removed.
- Replace it with a fresh sanding
band.
- Close the clamping lever.
T Make sure the clamping lever is
properly locked in its initial position.
ADJUSTING THE SANDING
BAND
For proper use of the belt sander,
the sanding band must be in the
centre of the support plate.
- Using the adjustment screw, make
sure the sanding band runs in a
straight line. To do this, turn the
adjustment screw left or right while
the device is operating.
A faulty adjustment can cause
damage or the sanding band to
jump out.
Replace overused sanding bands.
ATTACHING THE SANDING
FRAME
The sanding frame allows an equally
applicable abrasion when sanding
large wooden surfaces.
- Push the guiding device of the
sanding frame into the respective
slots on the side of the support
plate, tighten nut to fix the position
of frame.
- Fix the sanding frame using the
tightening screws.
By adjusting the nut to change the
position of screw, then adjust the
Height of sanding frame, changing
the distance of the sand belt to the
surface of the work piece.
Adjusting sanding frame to a lower
position will create a smoother
surface.
0- Adjusting sanding frame to a
higher position will increase the
efficiency of the sand belt.
OPERATION OF THE BELT
SANDER
- Hold the device parallel to the
surface, using both hands. Thereby
use one hand to hold the handle
and the other to hold the guidance
handle.
- Before touching the material, turn
the device on, using the ON/OFF
switch.
- Carefully place the belt sander
on the surface of the material and
move the device backhand fourth.

WORK ADVICE
- Turn of the device by releasing the
ON/OFF switch.
For extended work you can lock the
ON/OFF switch in place.
- Press the locking button while
pressing the ON/OFF switch. The
ON/OFF switch is now locked in
place.
- To release the lock, press the ON/
OFF switch all the way.
Using the belt sander you can
surface grind large surfaces in a
very short amount of time.
To avoid furrows, and visible
transitions between sanding tracks,
please abide by the following
advices:
- Move the device parallel to the
direction of the fibres. Make sure
not to push the belt sander forwards
for more than 2/3 of the length
of the device (about 20cm). This
guarantees that no transitions are
visible between the sanding tracks.
- Do not apply additional pressure
when using the device. Its weight
is sufficient pressure.This prevents
damage to the sanding band, the
surface becomes smoother and
consumes less energy.
